Since 1993 LIFT Learning has been bringing together artists, teachers, schoolchildren and business people from right across the social spectrum to explore the questions:

What is theatre?
Who can be part of making theatre?
What can be learnt in the process?

With a strong global slant, the emphasis of LIFT Learning is on the process as much as the end result. Breaking down the usual barriers between teacher and pupil, LIFT Learning instead opens a dialogue between participants. By encouraging the exchange of ideas in a mutually supportive environment, LIFT Learning opens the minds of everyone involved to new perspectives on theatre, as well as each individual's unique creative potential.
